How Does It Look?
The can is a very dark blue, almost black color. The drink is almost the same color, I guess to remind people of blueberries or blackberries. It has purple carrot extract for color. Purple carrots?! Who knew??
How Does It Taste?
I have to say that I just tasted a generally sweet flavor, with no identifiable berries. The after taste was not too strong. The taste of Sweet Tarts candy immediately came to mind. There’s lots of carbonation. The front of the can says “zero sugar”, but the ingredients lists says, “a trace amount of sugar.” I guess I was disappointed in the lack of imagination for this flavor. I’d skip Wild Berry Blast next time.
Does It Give You Energy?
Meh. Maybe I’d have felt more effects if I drank the whole can, but I didn’t. According to the can, there’s 100% of your daily recommended vitamin C, 300% of B6, 100% of both B5 and 4900% of the daily recommended value of vitamin B12. There’s 80 milligrams of caffeine in this drink.
